Making the good life in Teton Valley even better

Where Does My Donation Go?

Teton Valley Foundation is a non-profit organization that depends on financial support from the community at all levels. Every gift helps bring us closer to our goal of making the good life in Teton Valley even better – whether it supports our fantastic youth hockey programs, helps us build a state-of-the-art ice rink in Victor, or helps us bring great, free music to town. You can be confident that your donation, no matter the size, will be used to support the programming that you love, and we are committed to using every dollar as efficiently as possible towards that end.

This year, we are specifically working to raise funds for:

Zamboni and Extension of Kotler Arena

Kotler Arena has never been more popular in the winter. In the 2011/12 season, we hosted 4 youth hockey teams, 9 adult pond hockey teams, 6 broomball teams, a growing women’s hockey team, adult and family stick & puck, figure skating lessons, open skates, and Friday Night Ice LIVE. But we have much farther to go.

In 2012/13, we are working to:

  • Purchase a Zamboni to improve ice quality and create more time for programs.
  • Extend the rink to full length to increase the number of programs we can offer and create the possibility for semi-professional competitions and regional tournaments.
  • Offer an additional youth hockey division (ages 13-14).

Music on Main

Music on Main has always been free, and we aim to keep it that way, all while improving the quality of the bands we host. But bigger bands mean greater expenses. Your support will help us keep Music on Main free and world class for all to enjoy.

Great Snow Fest

In January 2012, we worked with numerous other local organizations and businesses to put together the first Great Snow Fest. It was a remarkable success in its first year, drawing crowds of locals and visitors to Teton Valley during a typically slow time of year. TVF’s skijoring event alone attracted an estimated 650 spectators each day!

But coordinating such a large event during our busy ice season requires additional staff time and resources. Your support will help us ensure that Great Snow Fest continues to grow and thrive, without taking away from our busy ice programs.
