Our Programs
The Teton Valley Foundation was formed to "organize and implement cultural, educational and recreational opportunities for the benefit of the community." During the first several years of its existence, the Teton Valley Foundation focused primarily on bringing cultural opportunities to Teton Valley through its annual free, all-ages concert series, "Music on Main," and beginning this year, the "Driggs Outdoor Concert" series. Teton Basin Ice and Recreation joined the Teton Valley Foundation this year, an addition that fulfills the recreational element of our mission.
- Our flagship event, Music on Main, is an outdoor concert series in downtown Driggs, Idaho. The series is free to the public and features prominent headliners performing each Thursday in July and August.
- Oktoberfest is a TVF fundraiser and autumn celebration with live music, food, kids activities, spirited competitions and Grand Teton Brewery tours.
- Teton Basin Ice and Recreation manages the Kotler Ice Arena at Pioneer Park in Victor, Idaho. TBIR also facilitates the youth and adult programs associated with the Ice Rink, including Adult Rec-League Hockey, youth figure skating instruction, ice hockey teams and instructional programs, and other events at Kotler Arena. This summer TBIR will be adding a 600 square foot warming hut, a Zamboni shed to the building, and a Zamboni to increase the quality of the ice.
- The DOC - Driggs Outdoor Concert series, is a new, free, all-ages concert series that will take place in Driggs, Idaho for five Sundays, June 13, 20, 27, July 4, and 11 of 2010. This series will feature local bands with an opener and a headliner, and will take place in the Driggs City Center Plaza. Food, beer, and wine will be available, so come get a healthy dose of local music, art, food, and the unexpected!
